Social Work

Enjoy a better life!

Improve your memory!

Manage chronic illness better!

Learn new coping skills!

If you want to improve some aspect of your life, Social Work Services may be able to assist.  Social Work is a service available at all eight of the Senior Centers affiliated with Senior Services.  Social Work offers numerous classes and groups on such topics as memory improvement, grief-loss-and life's transitions, vision support, making positive lifestyle changes and successfully managing chronic health conditions.  Social Workers can be helpful in connecting senior volunteers with isolated homebound seniors in need of social support and encouragement.  Confidential and professional counseling for individuals and/or family members by appointment is also available.

To contact a Social Worker, click to the Senior Centers page and telephone the senior
center closest to you.
