The Senior Center of West
Seattle is a multipurpose facility in
which older adults may come together to
fulfill many of their social, physical
and intellectual needs. The Center is a
bridge, a broad, two-way bridge linking
the loose-knit senior community to a
community at large. Membership is
$20.00 annually, although members as well
as non-members use the facility and
participate in services available.
Services include: IRS, insurance,
and legal counsel, foot care, health
screenings, exercise classes including
wellness with weights, chair exercise,
Health mentor, support groups, RN on
staff for health care follow-ups at center
and in home, tai chi, lunches, job bank,
Senior Connections, personal counseling,
continuing education classes, computer
