Aging Your Way
Everyone says Baby Boomers don't want to talk about aging, but we're getting them to talk - how are we doing it?
As part of our initiative, Aging Your Way, we're holding community gatherings in neighborhoods all over King County. At these events, Boomers (age 45-65) work with our professional facilitator, Jim Diers. They envision what programs, designs and connections their community will have to implement to make it a great place in which to age. They identify what skills and talents they can contribute, brainstorm projects to make the vision a reality, and even have an opportunity to sign up for an Action Team if they want to get started right away.
