Getting Active



Congratulations for wanting to get more physically fit and mentally active! Before you start an exercise plan be sure you talk to your doctor, especially if you have any medical problems.

Being active can help:

  • Make you more mentally alert
  • Slow bone loss (osteoporosis)
  • Reduce the risk of falls
  • Increase flexibility
  • Improve your sleep
  • Improve the fitness of your heart and lungs

Our fitness programs, mental activities, senior centers and volunteer opportunities can help you meet your goals.
