provides free, unbiased information about health care coverage and access to help improve the lives of all Washington state residents. We assist people of all ages with questions or concerns about health care coverage.

Senior Services and Chinese Information and Service Center are proud sponsors of SHIBA in King County. Trained volunteers provide free
health insurance education, counseling, and assistance to all Washington residents.

There are many opportunities to get involved locally with the SHIBA. Sample volunteer roles include:
- counsel (in person or over the phone)
- provide clerical support
- participate in outreach activities
- give presentations to the public
- work on special projects

Chinese Information and Service Center
Chinese Information and Service Center (CISC)
helps Chinese and other Asian immigrants throughout King County achieve success in their new community by providing information, referral, advocacy, social, and support services. CISC works together with Senior Services to provide SHIBA assistance to King county residents.
