Senior Services refers to the Alzheimer’s 24/7 HelpLine, where, at any time of the day or night, consumers can find a well-informed, compassionate professional ready to help. The Chapter is dedicated to increasing awareness about memory loss and dementia and to providing support and services to people living with the disease. Services are provided at no charge.
The designated Seattle/King County Area Agency on Aging. ADS plans, coordinates, and advocates for a comprehensive service delivery system for older adults, family caregivers and people with disabilities. They partner with Senior Services on a variety of important pilot and ongoing programs that are instrumental in testing and bringing new and improved services to consumers.
This long-term partner helps frail adults stay in their own homes, with their families, through an extensive network of day programs and supported living homes with respectful, loving staff. ElderHealth also provides geriatric consultation, in-home care, and volunteer companion services.

SNAPforSeniors™ provides a free online, searchable data base that lists licensed residential care housing options and a growing number of independent living communities.
NCCA helps older adults find their purpose and live their potential by facilitating conversation, fostering connections, and serving as an educational resource.

The Institute on Aging at the University of Washington is an interdisciplinary center dedicated to research and teaching on aging. Its mission is to improve the quality of life for older adults in the Pacific Northwest. This institute focuses on issues that remain major challenges for researchers, educators, practitioners and policy makers in aging.
