Caring and Aging with Pride

Caring and Aging with Pride is the first ever national project funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute on Aging generating knowledge on health, aging, and caregiving among lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) adults, age 50 and older. From across the nation, 2,560 LGBT adults, ranging in age from 50 to 95 years, participated in the study. Senior Services was one of the ten collaborating agencies from around the country that worked with the University of Washington in helping to disseminate the surveys to the LGBT community in Seattle.
